Midnight Wednesday
Unlike other food manufacturers we do not mass produce any of your meals. All meals are cooked to order. As such you will need to submit your order by midnight Wednesday for delivery on Saturday.
These timeframes are not applicable for catering requests
If you are consuming your meals by the “use by” date indicated on your individual meals, store them in your fridge.
If you will not be consuming them before the “use by” date, store them in your freezer. Frozen meals can be stored for up to 4 weeks in the freezer. Allow 4-5 minutes in the microwave for frozen meals (depending on the strength of your microwave).
Keep in mind that some foods freeze better than others and we do not recommend freezing bread or meals that contain raw fruits or vegetables.
Our meals are packaged in airtight containers, and are placed in an insulated bag with an ice pack. The Insulated bag is then placed into a cardboard box for transportation.
We understand that some of our customers may not have a microwave for various reasons and as such our packaging enables you to heat your meals on the stove top or alternatively in the oven. The standard heating instructions for our meal plans are noted below:
MICROWAVE:
Prior to heating, peel off one side of the plastic film covering to allow steam to escape during microwaving. Microwave for 90 seconds. Serve and enjoy!
OVEN:
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius. Put the meal in an oven-safe tray and cover the top with aluminium foil. Heat in the oven for 5-8 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
STOVE:
Place the meal contents in a pot on the stovetop on medium-high heat. Stir as required. It will take approximately 5-8 minutes to heat up. Serve and enjoy!
Please ensure you read the specific preparation instructions on each meal because not all of our meals require heating. Some meals, including our salads are eaten directly from the container with no heating required.
We pride ourselves in not using any preservatives or additives in any of our meals. All you will get is wholesome real food delivered from our kitchen to yours.
